Position Overview Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Job ID: 4503 Location: York County (site within York City School District, subject to change). Date Available: August 2026. Closing Date: 05/28/2026. Position Type: Professional/Occupational Therapist (OT). Full‑time, 180 days/year following the traditional school schedule. Description As a COTA in the Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12, you will support licensed occupational therapists in implementing therapeutic interventions, individualized treatment plans, and activities that promote students' functional independence and participation in the school setting under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities Implement therapeutic interventions and individualized treatment plans. Provide activities that promote functional independence and participation. Assist licensed occupational therapists in all tasks and job functions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Proactively solve problems. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance. National Board of Certified Occupational Therapist (NBCOT) certification and Pennsylvania state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Experience working with school‑aged children (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Terms & Salary Full‑time, 180 days/year (school schedule). Salary: $29.94/hr , plus benefits.
