Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift length: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Active RN License Degree from an accredited nursing program Certification: BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC (may be required) At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting Other requirements may be determined by the client facility Responsibilities Emergency Room registered nurses (RN) provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and must be able to recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions. Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of traumas and illnesses with decisive action. Maintain knowledge of general and specific health issues for a broad range of medical conditions. Understand triage and prioritize injuries based on medical need. Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
