Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting store leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, stockroom, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, observe for suspicious behavior, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Support access control and asset protection practices by observing entry and exit points, assisting with incident documentation, and communicating clearly with team members and store personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
