About the Role:
Bos Bagels And Coffee Inc in Huntington Beach, CA is looking for an energetic and passionate Barista/Front of House team member to join our crew! If you love crafting great coffee, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and being part of a lively café environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Come be part of something delicious!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, drip coffee, and specialty drinks to order
- Greet and assist customers at the counter, ensuring a positive and friendly guest experience
- Take and process customer orders accurately at the point of sale (POS)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house, counter, and café seating areas
- Assist with food prep and bagel assembly as needed
- Restock supplies, pastries, and merchandise throughout the shift
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Requirements:
- Previous barista or café experience preferred but not required — we're happy to train the right person
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light lifting
- Food handler's card or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
