Summary: As a midwife, with collaboration of a physician, you will coordinate care of patients seen at PH Life's Journey OB/GYN. This includes performing histories, physicals, and procedures; order laboratory and diagnostic tests; and developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans. The primary physician will provide guidance as needed daily through face-to-face interaction or by telephone if necessary.
Qualifications: Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in nurse midwifery from an accredited university. Current certification as a nurse midwife through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). Active PA State Nurse Midwife license. Active PA State Nurse Midwife prescriptive authority. Active PA State RN license. BLS and NRP certification.
