Overview Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Ukiah, California. This travel assignment begins 07/13/2026 for a 13-week engagement in a hospital setting. Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients in the LDR setting according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in patient management.
• Monitor labor and delivery patients, administer appropriate medications, and respond to changing clinical conditions; support OB triage as indicated.
• Document care accurately, maintain patient safety, and provide patient and family education as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the obstetric team to ensure smooth transitions through labor, delivery, and recovery phases; postpartum, infant care, and ambulatory birthing centers are outside the department scope.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (CA)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (ADN or BSN)
• Experience in labor and delivery or obstetric nursing preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting
• Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and adhere to travel nursing requirements
