Monday to Friday with occasional weekends. Day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team at a state-of-the-art acute rehabilitation hospital. The facility is dedicated to treating and assisting individuals recovering from severe injuries and illnesses through specialized rehabilitation programs. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and providing tailored rehabilitation to adult patients with various diagnoses including brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions aimed at improving patient function and quality of life.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth patient transitions and discharge planning.
• Monitor and document patient progress in electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current occupational therapy license in Indiana.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred experience in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
