Automotive Technician

Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and perform advanced vehicle repairs and maintenance. Conduct emissions testing and vehicle mechanical diagnostics. Assist with vehicle movement and inventory management. Document repair work and enter records into DriveTime systems. Maintain a clean and organized work area to meet safety and compliance standards. Communicate repair findings to management to minimize rework and production delays. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required; Certificate or Associate degree in automotive technology or ≥3 years of related automotive repair experience. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Minimum age 18 years. Proficiency in automotive repairs and troubleshooting. Ability to meet metric performance targets. Basic computer skills and proficiency with DriveTime computer systems. Organized, punctual, and safety‑compliant. Physical Requirements Lift up to 60 lbs independently and carry up to 60 lbs up to 20 feet. Stand for extended periods with frequent reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and pulling in a potentially cold, hot, noisy, wet or fume‑laden environment. Exhibit excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity. Use required safety equipment such as face shield, goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask and other protective gear. Occasional driving and typing required. Maintain regular, predictable attendance. Communicate effectively in English in a safety‑sensitive/technical environment.
