Opportunity Details Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical and non‑surgical care for orthopedic trauma patients. Perform surgery on complex orthopedic trauma cases, including pelvic fractures, long bone fractures, and intra‑articular fractures, and upper and lower extremity trauma. Participate in the orthopedic surgery emergency call schedule. Participate in multidisciplinary trauma activities, including trauma meetings, quality initiatives, data collection, and compliance efforts. Conduct critical review of orthopedic consultations from the Emergency Department and inpatient units. Serve as the orthopedic representative on multidisciplinary trauma committees, as needed. Lead and mentor orthopedic surgery residents, medical students, physician assistants, and other clinical learners. Participate in departmental administrative and quality improvement initiatives, as required. Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship. Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $272,475* based on 21‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $377,723** , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $78,000. 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement. Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
