Key responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Orthopedic Surgery include:

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to orthopedic patients
• Manage equipment such as lifts, chest tubes, Hemavac drains, and wound vacs
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient discharge
• Perform drain removal and collaborate on PICC line placements

Requirements of the Registered Nurse Orthopedic Surgery include:

• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1-year acute care hospital orthopedic experience
• Ortho/trauma background preferred
