As an ESOP organization, our employees share directly in the company's success and take pride in supporting critical operations across every project.The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational support for field crews. This role is essential to maintaining project schedules, supporting safe work zones, and ensuring vehicle reliability across operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely load, transport, and unload materials and equipment to job sitesEnsure all loads are properly secured and compliant with DOT regulations and weight limitsCoordinate with supervisors and crews to support efficient routing and schedulingMaintain accurate delivery logs, including quantities, locations, and delivery timesFollow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety proceduresMaintain safe work zones and support crew and public safetyWear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all timesOperate commercial vehicles in a safe and responsible mannerPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliabilityMaintain proper fuel, fluid levels, and tire conditionsReport mechanical issues promptly and complete required documentationKeep assigned vehicles clean, organized, and compliant with company standardsAssist field crews with basic site preparation, traffic control, and equipment supportAdapt to changing job site conditions and contribute to team productivityMaintain professionalism, reliability, and accountability in all dutiesWhat Success Looks LikeSafe driving practices with strong compliance to DOT standardsConsistent on-time delivery of materials and equipmentReliable completion of inspections and required documentationEffective support of field operations and team collaborationProper care and maintenance of assigned vehiclesWork EnvironmentField-based role supporting active construction and roadway projectsCombination of driving and physical work in outdoor environmentsTeam-oriented environment focused on safety and efficiencyViaSun Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected classification under applicable law.Applicants with disabilities may be entitled to reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act and applicable state laws.
