Salary: $73,000 - 113,000 per year Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Experience programming Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Schneider, and/or Siemens PLCs
Familiarity with PLC programming in a highly automated or fiber optic manufacturing environment is preferred
Experience with Profibus, Ethernet, and Modbus+ communication protocols is preferred
Experience with HMI software and PC-to-PLC or PC-to-database transactions is preferred

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain PLC programs
Provide controls and automation support for optical fiber manufacturing
Troubleshoot and help resolve day-to-day production issues involving equipment or control software
Support the commissioning of new production equipment
Maintain proper backups of all programs and critical support files in line with plant standards
Follow all applicable safety procedures and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 HSE guidelines
