Job Overview A law firm seeks an International Employment Associate in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves supporting cross-border and global employment work, interacting with various offices worldwide. Duties Conduct employment diligence and advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions. Advise on employment policies and practices. Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements. Advise on reductions in force and employee terminations. Draft restrictive covenants and counsel on employee mobility. Provide comprehensive employment law advice to clients ranging from emerging growth to Fortune 500 companies. Requirements 3+ years of employment counseling experience, with international experience preferred. Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred. Strong academic background from a nationally recognized law school. JD from a nationally recognized law school. Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction of application. Skills Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze complex legal issues logically. Proficiency in producing timely and accurate work products. Capability to work under pressure and manage competing demands. Strong relationship‑building and client management skills.
