About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid shift and Night shift available Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Rhode Island License active to start and Connecticut License applied for/in process Certifications: BLS, CRT, RRT Must-Have: Pediatric experience required Description: 40 hours per week with evening and/or night shifts. Must work at least every other weekend and every other holiday. Duties include floating to other facilities as needed. Experience in adult critical care and drawing arterial blood gases is necessary. Responsibilities include emergency department support, intubation assistance, and airway management. Candidate must have the ability to perform tracheostomy care and management. Skills in oral/nasal suctioning and other respiratory care practices are essential. Previous charge experience is not required. Traveler experience is needed. Local candidates will not be accepted. One reference is required. Return staff policy requires a two-year absence before returning as a traveler.
