What You’ll Do

As a Certified Medical Assistant at our clinic, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients and assisting with check-in, payments, and rooming.
• Obtaining and documenting vital signs, medical histories, medication lists, and patient concerns.
• Preparing treatment rooms and supporting clinical providers during patient care.
• Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection (if trained and qualified).
• Assisting with injections and other clinical procedures within your scope of practice.
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking treatment areas.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Helping with scheduling, telephone calls, prior authorizations, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Tracking medical supplies and notifying management when items need to be reordered.
• Following HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and clinic safety policies.
• Contributing to a calm, welcoming, and professional environment for patients.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Certified Medical Assistant with the following qualifications:

• Current Medical Assistant certification.
• Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
• At least 1 year of clinical experience (preferred).
• Phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Comfort caring for patients with mental health conditions and chronic medical concerns.
• Dedication to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.
