Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting preschool and elementary students in the area. This position offers the chance to provide essential speech-language services over the academic year in a vibrant, kid-focused environment. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, your expertise will help young learners reach their communication goals.
You’ll work with both preschool and elementary-aged children, collaborating in dynamic school settings to make a genuine difference in the lives of students and their families. Scheduling details include daily hours typically from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with slight variations depending on campus assignment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification and valid license
- Experience with early childhood and elementary populations
- Familiarity with IEP procedures, progress monitoring, and AAC when appropriate
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptability to work in various school settings and classrooms
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services to preschool and elementary school students
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and families, to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service notes
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques focused on speech, language, articulation, and social communication
- Participate in staffings, parent meetings, and school-based activities as requested
This contract assignment runs from July 27, 2026, through May 21, 2027.
