Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal operation and safety of facility equipment. This position involves performing routine inspections, preventive upkeep, and emergency repairs while adhering to safety standards. Maintenance Technicians typically work independently or within small teams and report directly to the Maintenance or Facility Manager. Frequent travel to multiple sites is required to maintain equipment across various locations.

Responsibilities

Perform equipment repair and preventive maintenance
Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance
Manage tools and maintenance supplies effectively
Respond promptly to emergency repair needs
Maintain facility systems to support smooth operations

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of maintenance experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
Experience with electrical systems, mechanical repair, and HVAC
Strong understanding of safety compliance
Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
