In the restaurant, you will serve our customers by ensuring they are seated quickly, their orders are received, prepared, and delivered in a timely manner, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next customers. Responsibilities: • Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities • Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties • Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors Qualifications: • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers Compensation: $11 hourly plus gratuities
