Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Screening Post in CHANDLER, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and/or personnel, and support daily operations through a visible presence and strong communication. This role offers the opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service while helping to identify and report security-related concerns. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in alignment with post orders and property rules.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
