Imaging - Interventional Radiology Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, ensuring optimal imaging quality and patient safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide seamless patient experiences.
• Prepare and maintain equipment according to protocol, troubleshooting as needed for minimal downtime.
• Educate and communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation, following HIPAA and department policies.
• Adhere to established infection control and radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required; additional IR certification preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Minimum of one year of experience in interventional radiology or a high-acuity imaging environment.
• Proficient in operation of fluoroscopy, digital subtraction angiography, and related imaging equipment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
• Current BLS certification.
