Our certified and highly-skilled teams specialize in structural steel design, engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection and retrofit to existing structural members.Position OverviewThe HR Generalist will proactively promote positive and supportive partnerships, delivering a high level of quality customer service; providing consultation, advice, guidance, policy and procedure interpretation to internal customers on employment, compensation, and all other HR programs. Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit, onboard, and support the full employment process for fabrication shop, field, professional, and corporate positionsProvide and ensure efficient, day-to-day HR administration and operations with assigned departments and employee groupsServe as front-line resource for responding to and solving employee concerns and questionsPartner with management and employees to maintain positive work relationships and morale, and foster engagement and retentionDeliver training and consultation for leaders and employees, ensuring organizational development initiatives are achievedManage disciplinary procedures consistent with progressive discipline systemThoroughly conduct investigations and recommend appropriate resolutionProvide managers and supervisors with HR policy guidance and interpretationEnsure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policiesManage leave of absence process consistent with state/federal lawsManage HRIS and ATS platformsAssist and support with the rollout of company HR initiativesCoordinate and facilitate performance management processes, ensuring timely documentation and consistent feedbackAssist with employee engagement activities and events to promote a positive work culture and strengthen team moraleQualifications:Bachelor 's degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role with broad responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of local, state, and federal lawsProficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systemsPrevious experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferredEqual Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a Drug Free Workplace where post-offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a participant in the Federal E-Verify Program.
