Corporate Accountant

ProspectBlue is partnering with a growing restoration and project-based services company that is looking to add a Corporate Accountant to their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Staff or Senior Accountant who enjoys being hands‑on, digging into the numbers, and working closely with a Controller. This person will play an important role in the month‑end close, financial reporting, WIP accounting, cash flow forecasting, tax compliance, and financial analysis. What you'll be doing: Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries Prepare and analyze WIP schedules Support month‑end close and financial reporting Prepare flash reports, KPI scorecards, and financial analysis Assist with weekly/monthly and 13‑week cash flow forecasting Handle multi-state Sales & Use Tax and Personal Property Tax filings Support audit preparation and GAAP research Build and maintain reports and dashboards Assist with acquisitions, ERP data migration, and other special projects Partner closely with the Controller and CFO on accounting and process improvements What we're looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3–5+ years of accounting experience Staff or Senior Accountant experience preferred Construction, restoration, or project-based services experience is a plus WIP or percentage‑of‑completion accounting experience is a plus Multi‑state tax experience preferred Sage Intacct or similar ERP experience preferred Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Someone who can work independently and enjoys solving accounting problems #J-18808-Ljbffr ProspectBlue
