Before we design anything, somebody has to figure out what the brand is actually saying. That is this role. You run discovery, sit with the interviews and the research, and land positioning a founder can repeat out loud without reading it.We keep this role open year-round. Strategy is where most of our engagements start, so when a new client signs we often need this capacity before anything else. When an engagement needs you, we reach out with the client context, the scope, the timeline, and the pay.What the work looks like:- Discovery: stakeholder interviews, customer conversations, competitive reads- Positioning and messaging frameworks a client can actually use after we leave- Brand architecture and naming when the engagement calls for it- Presenting your thinking to the client and holding it when they pushContract, project-based, remote. Typical pay is $45 to $65 an hour depending on the engagement.
