This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.Job DescriptionWe are looking for world class manufacturing engineers to apply standard engineering methods to design, develop, and implement new or revised manufacturing & production processes for the efficient/economical production of aerospace products. If you share our passions and vision, thrive in a dynamic startup environment, excel on integrated cross-functional teams of individuals, are experienced and skilled in several relevant technologies (even if perhaps not in the aerospace industry), continuously seek out opportunities to learn and improve, and do not allow title or job description to limit the depth or breadth of your contributions, then we would love to hear from you.**Special Mentions:*** Multiple positions available* Shifts: listed below + **A** | Monday- Friday + **B** | Monday – Thursday (2:30pm-01:00am) + **C** | Friday – Sunday (6am-6:30pm) + **D|** Friday- Sunday (6pm-630am)**Key Responsibilities:*** Translating engineering intent and drawings into fully functional hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight by crafting manufacturing bill of materials and work instructions.* Identifying tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.* Providing shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.* Non-conformance report (NCR) generation, management, & closure.* Supporting introduction of new products by crafting manufacturing plan artifacts including build plans, duration estimates, index plans, and tool lists.* Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency, enhancing overall productivity.* Drive the transition from development to production, proactively performing troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.**Team Focus & Domain Expertise:**The Manufacturing Engineer at Blue Origin plays a pivotal role in advancing the efficiency and reliability of aerospace components through cutting-edge assembly methods. As part of a large, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will manufacture and assemble hardware on our premier launch vehicle, New Glenn. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight.**Minimum Qualifications:*** Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, automotive manufacturing or similar: (0-3 years Level I Engineer, 3+ Level II Engineer, 5+ Level III Engineer, 8+ Sr Level Engineer).* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.* Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including knowledge of GD&T.* Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc).**Preferred Qualifications:*** Hands on experience with building flight hardware* Experience with design, development or production of launch vehicle, spacecraft, or satellites.* Proficient with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (Creo or CATIA V5)* Customer focused with a proven track record to work cooperatively with teams of different skills across large geographic distances.* Strong organizational and analytical skills**Culture Statement**Don’t meet all desired requirements?
