Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Georgia LPN license
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric environment
• Confidence with tracheostomy care and feeding tubes
• Compassionate approach with students using wheelchairs and requiring mobility support
• Willingness to ride the bus as needed, assisting with student medical needs during transportation
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on nursing care for students with complex medical needs, including trach and G-tube support
• Safeguard student health and well-being throughout the school day and during bus transportation
• Maintain detailed health records and documentation
• Collaborate with lead nurse and school staff to ensure seamless care for students
• Act as a vital resource for student health education and emergency response
• Provide support during times when a fellow nurse is absent, stepping up to ensure uninterrupted care
