Sr. Systems Engineer
Duties: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Sr. Systems Engineer will manage and support the Production Infrastructure and Services Windows. Establishes system specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing system infrastructure. Establishes system by planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of server hardware, software, and operating and system management systems. Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems; escalating application problems to vendor. Upgrades system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems. Performing routine audits of systems and software. Troubleshooting any reported problems. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Skills: SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: 8+ years system administration experience required. 5+ years of administration experience Window Server OS 2008 R2 - 2016 5+ years of administration experience with Windows Security best 5+ practices, group policy, firewall managements, configuration 5+ management years of administration experience with Windows core 5+ stack, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File/Print, NPS years managing 5+ Cloud Services such as Azure, O365, AWS 3+ years administration of tools, such as WSUS, SCCM, SCOM years 3+ administration of SQL Excellent written/oral communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment Proven ability to take a given task and work independently and as part of a team to bring the task to completion. Excellent ability to trouble shoot methodologies and solve issues to meeting deadlines. Confidently introduce ideas and participate in detailed technological discussions.
