Must be physically fit to perform the essential functions, which includes responsibilities as directed. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Must possess a valid Tennessee Class “A” Restriction 57 commercial drivers’ license. Must have completed Apprentice Lineman training program and have Journeyman Lineman certificate and experience. Must successfully complete MTE Metering School, Substation School, and Transformer School, when offered, with a passing grade of 70. Must have working knowledge of RUS construction specifications, which includes all residential services and commercial services, underground, single-phase, and three-phase line construction, and be able to rotate in oncall. Must possess a positive attitude and sincere desire to be of service in all areas covered by the position. Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart).
