We are seeking a Perinatal Ultrasound Technician PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary and Qualifications Seeking a Ultrasound Tech for our practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. Responsibilities Apply fetal ultrasound principles in the evaluation of fetal anomalies Apply gynecological ultrasound principles in the evaluation of patients Adapt to various ultrasound machines while maintaining high standards of sonography Identify fetal anomalies such as CNS, maxillofacial, cardiothoracic, abdominal, abdominal wall, genitourinary, extremity, placental, umbilical cord growth disturbances Perform ultrasounds on maternal uterus, cervix, and ovaries Perform complicated twin and triplet scans in conjunction with in-office multiple gestation service Identify gynecological anomalies such as fibroids, thickened endometrium, and polyps Make preliminary, equivocal diagnosis of gynecological and fetal disorders in the organ systems mentioned above Operate General Electric, Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines with proficiency Continue to expand knowledge of latest technology Maintain ultrasound logging records including past medical history, past surgical history, past obstetric history, and past genetic history Prepare patients for procedures including Level I & II ultrasounds, amniocentesis, lung maturity amniocentesis, PUBS, amino reduction, external cephalic version, and GYN ultrasound Maintain professional relationships with other staff members, other obstetric offices, and hospital personnel Exercise independent judgment when interpreting Biophysical Profiles designed to assess fetal well-being Alert physicians of potentially dangerous conditions; diagnose fetal weight disturbances based on fetal biometry Diagnose multiple fetal anomalies and report findings to physician Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate’s degree in Ultrasound required Bachelor’s degree preferred RDMS required RDMS – OB/GYN preferred Benefits Comprehensive medical coverage including prescription drug and behavioral health coverage Dental and vision benefits, life and disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, supplemental health protection plans, and more Free counseling services and resources for emotional, physical and financial wellbeing 401(k) Plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service) Employee Stock Purchase Plan with 10% off HCA Healthcare stock Family support benefits Referral services, consumer discounts, retirement readiness, education assistance, colleague recognition program, time away program, employee health assistance fund Apply today.
