SENIOR LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

SAMHSA: TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING PROJECTS

The Senior Logistics Coordinator has a strong background in administrative and logistical experience to support the SAMHSA Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Project. The Senior Logistics Specialist will provide logistical and administrative support to ensure high-quality TTA is delivered to SAMHSA grantees.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Arrange all telephone, video conferencing, internet, and travel logistics in support of the TA and/or training. Assist PM with organization and maintenance of records management systems. Provide support regarding program data collection, research, analysis, quality control, and other administrative duties that support SAMHSA policies, procedures and priorities. Operate and maintain multiple, online and local data management/tracking systems and databases. Produce reports at the request of SAMHSA and the PM. Develop reports, correspondence, and presentations to include spreadsheets, Word documents, and Power Point presentations at the request of SAMHSA and PM. Aggregate and prepare data from existing government systems to inform and report on TTA activities. Conduct event planning for regional meetings and events, including provision of virtual TTA and all meeting logistics including ensuring meeting spaces are accessible. Generate, distribute and mail (electronically or otherwise) miscellaneous correspondence and materials to grantees and program officials as needed. Required Skills Ability to review, aggregate, and produce reports based on multiple data sources Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and appropriately to various audiences Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks at the same time Sustained concentration and attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize and manage workload and deadlines Ability to coordinate, plan, and manage all event logistics coordination Demonstrated proficiency with recent versions of Microsoft Suite, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer; desktop publishing, and ability to use current webinar technology and audio conferencing. Familiarity with SmartSheets preferred Required Experience 4-year college degree from accredited college or university preferred; 2-year college degree with 5 years of relevant experience will be considered Experience arranging telephone, video conferencing, internet, and travel logistics in support of the TA and/or training Experience developing and implementing a TA and/or training service request coordination mechanism and database for developing TA and/or training requests and tracking service delivery. Familiarity with the field of substance use/prevention, behavioral health, mental health, or training and technical assistance preferred.
