Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Variable shifts including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts spanning days and evenings. Call coverage required Monday-Friday 2100-0630 and Saturday/Sunday 0630-1900 and 1900-0630. Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs.

Highlights:

• Level 1 Trauma Center with 18-bed operating room performing 45-50 surgical procedures daily
• Broad surgical exposure including general surgery, robotic surgery, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics, burns, urology, GYN, and transplant
• Advanced technology environment utilizing DaVinci Xi Robotic Surgical System and Epic EMR
• 13-week assignment with opportunity for professional growth across multiple service lines
• Scrub role with comprehensive case mix requiring critical thinking and versatility
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficient experience with DaVinci Xi Robotic Surgical System (rate 3 or 4 out of 4) - mandatory requirement
• Liver transplant experience (rate 3 or 4 out of 4) - mandatory requirement
• Experience in at least one of the following service lines required: Neurosurgery OR Orthopedics
• Demonstrated ability to scrub surgical cases
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) in hand at time of submission
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Epic charting system experience required
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Willingness to float to different units within the organization as needed
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor

Preferred Experience:

• Ophthalmology (Eyes)
• ENT procedures
• Genitourinary (GU) cases
• Plastics and burn reconstruction
