Job Title: SAP Transportation Management (TM) Lead

Location: Fremont, CA (Onsite)

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Lead to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation for a global manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP TM, shipping and transportation processes, and end-to-end solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Lead SAP TM workstream activities, including requirement gathering and solution design.

Conduct workshops with business stakeholders and facilitate SAP Best Practice discussions.

Prepare and deliver system demonstrations and workshop presentations.

Configure and document SAP TM solutions based on business requirements.

Create functional specifications, process flows, and key decision documents.

Support test planning, change management, reporting, and security requirements.

Implement Freight Units, Freight Orders, and Advanced Transportation capabilities in SAP S/4HANA.

Integrate SAP TM with ShipERP , EWM , GTS , Dangerous Goods , carrier systems, and external 3PL warehouse solutions.

Configure route determination and transportation planning processes.

Mandatory Skills

5+ years of SAP Transportation Management (TM/STM) experience.

Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.

Expertise in Freight Units and Freight Orders.

SAP TM configuration and business process design.

Integration with ShipERP , EWM , GTS , and external warehouse (3PL) systems.

Carrier integration and Route Determination.

Functional specification writing and documentation.

Experience leading workshops, requirement gathering, and stakeholder communication.

Test planning, reporting, and change management.

Preferred Skills

Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry experience.

Experience implementing SAP Best Practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Experience
5+ years of SAP Transportation Management (TM) experience. Experience delivering end-to-end SAP S/4HANA TM implementations for enterprise clients. Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
