We’ve been serving Long Island since 2000, and we’re proud of the practice we’ve built. Our founder, David Morgan, LCSW, has over 25 years of clinical experience. Our team includes licensed clinicians trained in CBT, EMDR, and Play Therapy, and we work with children, adolescents, and adults across anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and anger management.

Our office in Stony Brook is a real clinical environment; warm, professional, and designed to help both clients and clinicians do their best work. Oh, and we have two therapy dogs, Finley and Smurf, who are basically co-therapists at this point.

• Specialized training that sets you apart. You’ll receive access to our proprietary anger management curriculum and training, developed over more than a decade and used across Long Island. Most practices can’t offer this.
• Experience across the lifespan. Work with individuals and families — children, teens, and adults. Exposure to CBT, EMDR, and Play Therapy, depending on your interests and clinical direction.

What You’ll Do

• Carry a caseload of individual therapy clients (children, teens, and/or adults, based on your strengths and interests)
• Participate in individual and group clinical supervision weekly
• Complete thorough, timely documentation in our EHR system (we’ll show you our systems)
• Collaborate with teammates on clinical questions and complex cases
• Bring your clinical curiosity and commitment to ongoing learning

What We’re Looking For

• LMSW or MHC-LP, LCSW or LMHC in New York State (required)
• Experience working with children and/or adolescents (preferred)
• Strong diagnostic skills under supervision
• Available for at least 15 client sessions per week
• Available at least one weekend day and/or weekday evenings
• Someone who takes documentation seriously and understands why it matters clinically
• A team player who values real supervision, not just the hours

• If you’re looking for a high-volume, session-churning model over clinical quality
