About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as the primary financial resource for the principals. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of financial matters, including personal financial management, real estate portfolio oversight, development projects, capital transactions, investment management, and support for external managers. This role requires a professional with a strong background in real estate finance, personal financial management, and family office operations. The CFO will be tasked with preparing and maintaining personal financial statements, coordinating overall balance sheets, managing cash flow, and liaising with various outside professionals. Additionally, the CFO will be involved in real estate investment accounting, financial modeling, and will be expected to have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in real estate accounting software. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA strongly preferred. A minimum of 8-10 years' of experience in real estate finance, personal financial management, or family office is required, with a demonstrated track record in real estate investment accounting and financial modeling. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating with third-party professionals, proficiency in real estate accounting software, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a family office or high-net-worth individual advisory, familiarity with REIT structures, and experience in construction financing. The CFO will play a critical role in the financial operations of the principals, and as such, a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities is essential.
