Travel Physical Therapist - $1,544 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Sandy Spring, Maryland. Job Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 30 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Must have 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Must hold BLS and state-specific licensing. Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods and have sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Physical Therapists may have as little as 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with appropriate background may be considered with 6 months of experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the setting, following guidelines within the facility Understand the PT board's rules and regulations and comply with respective state requirements Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate patients and develop plans of care Modify plans of care based on patient's condition Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Additional Information Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 30 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
