Work Environment

This role is onsite at our orthopedic outpatient facility, where you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment. Operating during traditional business hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, this position allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering impactful care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health status through comprehensive assessments and establish individualized care objectives tailored to meet their specific needs.
• Manage a structured schedule that optimizes time with each patient, handling a consistent patient load of one individual per hour while ensuring high-quality care.
• Administer cost-effective physical therapy treatments that enhance patient mobility and significantly reduce reliance on medications and surgical procedures.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions.
• Conduct motivational sessions to inspire patients to reach their utmost functional capabilities, promoting a proactive approach to their recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously while utilizing EMR systems like WebPT to streamline workflow and maintain accurate records.
• Engage in ongoing communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions, adjusting strategies as necessary to fit the evolving needs of the patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, many of whom are covered through private medical insurance plans. As a pivotal member of our team, you will develop meaningful relationships with patients, providing them with the encouragement and expertise needed to navigate their recovery journeys. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• A clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions related to licensure.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and skilled in creating and administering effective exercise programs.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to manage patient files and treatment documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, providing you with practical knowledge of patient care dynamics and rehabilitation methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
