Principal Machine Learning Engineer

Seeking a strategic Principal Machine Learning Engineer to work remotely, who will own the recommendation and search personalization strategy, design and build end-to-end ML systems, and drive relevance improvements through experimentation. Key responsibilities Own and drive the recommendation and search personalization strategy across all product surfaces Design and build end-to-end ML systems, including data pipelines, feature engineering, model training, and production serving Drive relevance improvements through rigorous experimentation and collaboration with Product and Engineering teams Required qualifications Demonstrated experience building recommendation and/or search systems that operate in production at scale Strong ML engineering fundamentals, including ranking and retrieval concepts, feature engineering, and model evaluation Proven ability to connect model improvements to measurable user and product outcomes through structured experimentation Strong software engineering skills, including building reliable pipelines and debugging complex distributed systems Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
