PROGRAM COORDINATOR, College of Arts & Sciences, History Location: BOSTON, MA. Position Type: Full-Time/Regular. Salary Grade 26, $43,079.00-$44,881.00. The Boston University African American & Black Diaspora Studies Program is seeking a full‑time Program Coordinator to provide event, communication, and administrative support. This role supports the Program Administrator, Director, and the larger undergraduate major/minor and graduate program. Responsibilities include assisting with program events and communications, facilitating course scheduling, providing academic support, working with student employees, and maintaining the program office and building logistics. Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Experience in an academic setting preferred. Demonstrated interest in African American & Black Diaspora Studies. Experience with Canva, WordPress, Hootsuite, and Mailchimp. Commitment to undergraduate student development and outreach. Proficiency in MS Office 365, Zoom, and Adobe Pro. Strong organizational and computer skills. Professional, highly organized, diligent, and positive attitude. Required Skills 1‑3 years of experience. Experience prioritizing work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests. Effective written and verbal communication with stakeholders such as faculty, fellows, and visitors. Project and/or program management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience handling complex and confidential information with discretion.
