Travel Nurse RN - Psychiatric - $2,166 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington.

Unit: Behavioral Health

Experience Required: 3 years psych exp with at least 2 years being recent inpatient psych. No exceptions. EPIC required, Previous travel experience required. MUST have Blood draw exp., medication passes, psych de-escalation techniques (security on site does NOT lead codes), run groups, documentation, EMR experience, seclusion and restraint experience preferred.
**Charge prn required: facility will train - Charge experience NOT required**

Certs Required: BLS, CPI or MOAB, Active WA/Compact license.
Experience Required: 2 years RN, 1 year recent inpatient psych.


Patient Types: Adult (18-65) Psych, they do use seclusion, they do not do Detox or SUD (substance use disorder).

Support on the Unit: Charge nurse, Hospitalist – 24/7, Psych providers on site 24/7, Medical providers on site during the day, SW, Care Coordinator, Rec Therapist, HUC- during the day


Scheduling: weekend rotation: every other
