Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide skilled physical therapy services in a home health setting while experiencing life in North Charleston, SC. Perform patient evaluations, develop and implement plan of care per physician orders, supervise therapy assistants and home health aides as assigned, document patient progress, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members. Reliable transportation and agency-required insurance may be required for home visits.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA or relevant accrediting body.
• Current, active, and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in South Carolina required prior to start of assignment.
• BLS (CPR) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience in home health setting preferred.
• Ability to supervise and evaluate Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides as assigned.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation, email, and basic computer navigation required.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance may be required for home visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–3 years of physical therapy experience preferred.
• Prior experience with development and updating of home health plans of care preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Evenings, 5x8.
