Vice President

My client is a well-established civil construction contractor based in New York and they are seeking an experienced Vice President of Civil Construction to lead and grow their civil operations across the region. They are looking for a senior leader with a strong background in heavy civil projects who can oversee operations, drive strategy, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget. Responsibilities: Provide executive leadership for all civil construction operations Oversee multiple large-scale civil projects from preconstruction through closeout Lead and mentor project executives, project managers, and field leadership Develop and implement operational strategies to support growth and profitability Collaborate with estimating and business development teams on pursuits and bids Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and public agencies Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in civil construction, including senior leadership roles Strong background in heavy civil, infrastructure, roadway, utility, or similar projects Proven experience managing large teams and complex project portfolios Excellent financial, operational, and strategic leadership skills Ability to operate at both executive and hands-on levels Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred What They Offer: Bonus and long-term incentive potential Opportunity to play a key leadership role in a growing organization Strong pipeline of civil projects throughout New York #J-18808-Ljbffr
