What You Will Do

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension to provide medical services to hospital patients via telemedicine.

• Call Structure: Cover inpatient teleneurology consults.
• Practice Setting: Join a group of other employed teleneurologists providing acute stroke and neurohospitals care remotely via telemedicine.

• Deliver high-quality medical services and actively participate in collaborative efforts to enhance the clinical excellence and cost-effectiveness of care provided to every patient.
• Serve as a vital contributor to the medical staff by accepting patient referrals and acting as the admitting, attending, or consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
• Engage in essential inpatient and outpatient consultations for your specialty, which will include participating in a structured on-call schedule.
• Contribute to the future of healthcare by participating in academic programs, including medical education and research initiatives, as opportunities become available.
• Ensure seamless operational flow by providing thorough, timely documentation that meets all insurance company requirements, including the timely appeal of any claim denials.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
