The Scheduling Team plays a pivotal role in the patient care plan. Through accuracy, communication, and time management our Schedulers help start and maintain our patients care plans.A Scheduler at Defy Medical is outgoing and enjoys helping people. They can adapt and learn new computer programs quickly. Multitasking, upbeat personality, and communication are pillars for our Schedulers. Amazing communication skills, written and oral, are a must for being successful in this position.ResponsibilitiesCommunicating with clients, medical assistants and nurses within the organizationMaintain client and employee privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulationsHandling incoming and outgoing patient and/or vendor callsResponding to live chatsWorking independently on ancillary tasksOrganizing and processing blood work order and physician schedulesManaging information input into computer databaseHandle a high volume of inbound and outbound callsAbility to effectively learn and utilize multiple computer programsCheck voicemails and return customer callsMaintain email communication with patients, vendors and co-workers dailyOrganize and maintain cleanliness of working areas, supplies, and equipmentDuties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without noticePosition is Work from Home!QualificationsScheduling experience preferredCustomer service experience preferredAdministrative experience preferredHigh School Diploma (associate's in healthcare preferred)Ability to execute active listening and problem-solving skills to provide exceptional customer serviceExcellent inter-personal relationship skills and the ability to work with individuals of all levelsExcellent written and verbal communication skills including phone and e-mail etiquetteAbility to prioritize and multi-taskTier 1Shift Available: Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pmCompensation: $17.50/hr (not negotiable)Tier 2Shift Available: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pmCompensation: $18.50/hr (not negotiable)BenefitsPTOPaid HolidaysMedicalDentalHealth insuranceEmployee Discount on services*Benefits are subject to change at any time
