Your Responsibilities

• Performing holistic patient evaluations, ordering tests, and crafting personalized care plans
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, working alongside physicians or autonomously based on your credentials
• Guiding patients and families in wellness strategies, prevention tactics, and health management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies as permitted by your scope
• Engaging in chronic care management and ensuring patient follow-up
• Working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
• Maintaining detailed and accurate electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or other specialty cert
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
