As an Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of a wide variety of events ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to social gatherings and community functions. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and possesses a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and coordination of various events including logistics, venue booking, and vendor management. Support the development and distribution of promotional materials and invitations. Manage event registration processes and maintain attendee databases. Coordinate on-site event setup, including signage, equipment, and catering arrangements. Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure requirements are met. Qualifications Requirements Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
