What You'll Be Doing: Getting Patients Ready to Shine – Prep charts, check vitals, and set the stage for great care. Hands‑On Clinical Work – Administer medications, give immunizations, collect specimens, and assist with minor procedures such as wound care and suture removal. Tech Savvy & Detail‑Oriented – Keep patient records up to date in our electronic medical records (EMR) system. Team Player Extraordinaire – Support providers, participate in team huddles, and help keep the clinic running like a well‑oiled machine. Patient Educator – Help patients understand their treatment plans, new medications, and follow‑up care. What You Bring to the Table: Education – High School Diploma or Equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Certification – Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NRCMA, or CCMA) required at time of hire and must be maintained. BLS Certification – Current basic life support certification or ability to obtain before starting. Knowledge & Skills – Knowledge of POCT, immunizations, and injections. Strong Problem‑Solving Skills – Think on your feet and adapt quickly. Excellent Organization & Time Management – Keep things running efficiently. Customer Service – Treat patients with comfort and care. Tech‑Savvy – Comfortable with Microsoft applications and EMR systems. Radiology Certification (if applicable) – Required if X‑ray functions are performed; training from your MA program or validated competency checklist needed. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) From conducting assessments and collecting patient data to administering medications and documenting care, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent healthcare. Follow Standards – Perform all duties in alignment with the Missouri State Board of Nurse Practice Act to ensure top‑notch, safe care for every patient.
