What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, bus areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, helping to deter unauthorized access, vandalism, and/or suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
