The Facility Associate provides custodial services to the Facility Director, assuring the building meets excellent requirements. Maintain cleanliness of building at all times. Cleaning, sanitizing, mopping, trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and grounds keeping. Maintain grounds in a safe manner and pleasing appearance according to the season. Maintain a safe environment for members and staff while performing work duties. Assist with room set up and breakdown, and snow removal as needed. Evaluate and report any health, safety or cleanliness issues to supervisor. Maintain an adequate inventory of custodial and maintenance supplies. Follow all Association and applicable safety standards when performing any tasks. Assist with maintaining all buildings and fire suppression inspections. Ensure compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in custodial field. Demonstrate knowledge of basic custodial equipment and functions. Ability to relate well with staff and public. Obtain and/or maintain a valid driver’s license. Be willing to alter work schedule to deal with job demands and manage competing priorities. Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire. Basic computer skills required. Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
