Job Title: Travel RN - Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: TNCC preferred, ENPC and IV certification nice to have Must-Have: Candidates must possess critical care experience. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The Emergency Department has a total of 24 beds, with additional fast track and hall beds available. The staff includes a charge nurse and ten nurses during the night shift, with support personnel to assist. Patient ratios are maintained at 4:1. Equipment used in the department includes Belmont, sono-site machines, Arctic Sun, Bair hugger, and Lucas. The department performs a variety of procedures including airway and resuscitation management, procedural sedation, chest tube insertion, wound care, and splinting. Candidates are sought who exhibit positive energy and a commitment to putting patients first. Those who thrive in calmness under pressure will particularly find success in this role.
