Housekeeper PositionWe are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team! This position provides a clean, safe and pleasant environment for residents, staff and visitors. Cleans public areas of the building as assigned.Meadows on Fairview Senior Living, is Ebenezer's 51 Unit Assisted Living and Transitional Care Community located in Wyoming, MN near Highway 35, County Roads 8, and 61. Conveniently across the street from Fairview Lakes Hospital and Dialysis center offering a full continuum of care for our residents. Our tenured staff is dedicated to healing, discovering and educating for longer, healthier and substantial lives.This schedule includes:On-call / casualDay shiftMust pick up three shifts per month; 2 being weekend shiftsResponsibilitiesCleans resident and common areas of the community as assigned.Performs thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops hard floor surfaces, dusts and/or damp wipes surfaces, sanitizes bathrooms, cleans all glass windows/mirrors.Prioritizes tasks and completes within allotted time.Assists in cleaning emergency spills as needed.Assumes other responsibilities as assigned.Follows cleaning schedule and instructions regarding specifications of resident's individualized housekeeping needs.Performs job duties safely, using correct body mechanics and personal protective equipment.Safely mixes chemicals according to instructions provided by the manufacturerConsistently follows safe body mechanicsDemonstrates precautionary work practices for the safety of others in the work areas, such as electric cords, wet floor signs, etc.Completes all OSHA training modules in a timely manner.Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.Maintains housekeeping cart and storage area on daily basis.Safeguards others' well-being by keeping chemicals and other hazardous materials locked when not in active use.Communicates supplies that need to be re-stocked.Communicates need for equipment repairs.Adheres to all Lockout/Tagout requirements per policy.Assists with light maintenance tasks as needed.Participates actively in team meetings, reports on current state in the Community, providing feedback on housekeeping-related items as they arise.Required QualificationsLess than 1 year of experienceAbility to utilize software programs in order to complete work functions.Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma orGED1 to 3 years of experienceExperience utilizing software programs such as Educare or TELS in order to complete necessary job functionsBenefit OverviewEbenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
