Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Operations Associate to support payment processing and non‑financial request handling within a high‑volume operations team. This onsite role in Lake Mary, FL involves exposure to core banking operations and emerging AI‑driven process improvements, offering a strong entry point into financial services. Key Responsibilities Payment Processing: Handle stop and replace payment requests, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of check‑related activities. Request Management: Process non‑financial service requests including pulling transcripts, compiling reports, and drafting correspondence. Exception Handling: Investigate payment issues (e.g., lost or misdirected checks) and coordinate resolutions across internal teams. Collaboration: Work closely with internal partners (e.g., wire room and operations teams) to gather details and complete requests. Reporting & Tracking: Maintain and update tracking logs (e.g., Excel) for payment activity and outstanding requests. Client Support: Assist with inquiries and provide updates through professional written communication. Process Improvement: Participate in automation initiatives, including supporting AI‑driven enhancements to streamline manual workflows. Operational Execution: Manage a consistent volume of tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Qualifications High School Diploma required. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Reliable, accountable, and proactive in completing assigned work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Experience Prior experience in banking, financial services, or operations. Exposure to payment processing or transaction‑based workflows. Familiarity with Excel for tracking and reporting. Interest or experience in automation or AI tools.
